Five Dolla Holla!
Since being home I've scored two new bags for $5 each - love it! My new light yellow croc satchel is perfect for spring, I found it earlier today at Goodwill on Bloor Street East. The gold vintage clutch was picked up at Salvation Army on Parliament street a couple days after arriving home, its little handle can be folded down into the bag which is super convenient. I had been looking for a new metallic clutch I could use over the holidays without worrying too much about it getting wrecked while getting trashed - I guess it was meant to be!
Organics & Wang
Like any die hard fashion fan, I love to own and wear designer gear. However, when you are still in the beginning stages of carving out your career in the industry, this can prove to be quite challenging, if not nearly impossible. So how does one begin to accumulate a designer wardrobe? Well, having friends in the field always helps. Take, for example, these amazing silk harem pants from Organics by John Patrick - the 'godfather' of organic fashion as Anna Wintour calls him - that were a gift from a friend who works closely with him. Score! Next up, my Alexander Wang sweatshirt from his SS10 collection. Not too sure why it has taken me so long to blog about this piece, but here we are. I have had an odd obsession with sweatshirts from a young age, and I am constantly seeking pieces that are stylish but allow me to feel like I'm still in my pajamas while at work. An NYC-based fashion blogger was selling off a couple of her Wang pieces at the end of last summer and I was quick to jump on this number. At the time of purchase, it was still being sold ON SALE for £380 - and I got it for £90! So remember readers, always keep an eye out - you never know where you might find a great new designer addition for your wardrobe.

Happy Ho Ho!
Hope that all of my lovely London Snog readers had an amazing Christmas this year! So what did y'all get!? Please share!
As my brother doesn't get home from Germany until the 1st of January, my family has put our Xmas on hold until the 2nd. Yesterday, I suggested that I could just open up all my gifts and then re-wrap them on the 2nd, but my mum said 'NO. And I'm pretty sure you also came up with that idea when you were five.' hmph! Luckily I have a boyfriend that understands that I love gifts and don't like to wait to get them - so here's a picture of what he got me: a gorgeous brass nail cuff from Giles & Brother and the lasso love ring from Zoe & Morgan. J'adore!

The Denim Shirt
Too funny!! My favourite Parisian London Snog reader, Lady Moriarty, clearly has an incredible eagle fashion eye as spotted me on Lolita Says So the other day - looks like Lolita and I were both featured on Boohoo.com's London Street Style "The Fashion Elite of LFW" haha. I remember this day and photo being taken so clearly - sigh, if only it was warm out again!! I've always wondered where this photo ended up, and now I know, sort of. Thanks Lady M!! xx

Colour Me Pretty
We've got two very different moods happening in these photos but I love them both equally. I love the darker mood of the first one from Dazed Oct '10, combined with the muted girly florals. Below is a picture of Marian Kihogo's November birthday outfit - I love how that her outfit is fun and bright - the image reminds me of Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face!

Accessorise with POP Art
Keith Haring has been one of my favourite artists for as long as I can remember. I LOVE the Nicholas Kirkwood shoes that he designed in collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation - but sadly may have to hold off on purchasing a pair as I don't have a spare £300+ (the starting price point for these babies) casually lying around.
Luckily there is a cheaper alternative for the bank account challenged like me- WAH Nails are now doing Keith Haring Pop Art NAAAAILS! SO excited about my next manicure.

What I Wore To Work Today
Brrrr -2 degree weather and outdoor photographs really took the fun out of my outfit today - I was a bit annoyed about covering up. Hopefully all my complaining will pay off and next week they will shoot us indoors where we can all be warm and happily show off what we're really wearing in the office! Haha. Don't Call Me Sugar
SS11 has got a bit of a split personality. On one side, we have clean, classic and simple dressing. A bit boring to be honest. On the other side, we have BRIGHT, bold, crazy ass colours and punk rock attitudes - love it. Sugar Mag had their fashion and beauty sale today and I'm super excited about the silver metallic biker jacket and bright floral necklace made from multi-coloured neon discs that I scored. The jacket is going to look great with floaty, pastel-coloured chiffon pieces, while the necklace is going to be amazing worn on top of printed tees. Can't wait for spriiiiing!!
Ps. my purchases amounted to a toal of £4. Yup, that's right - four freakin pounds. Sa-Weet!
