By Florian M.

London-based Parisian illustrator, Florian Meacci, is the latest talent I've added to my roster of fashion illustrators that I love. From his simple pen strokes to fine details, there's just something so delicate and sensitive about his pieces. You better watch this space. Click HERE for more from Florian xo

The Powder Room

Director Zoe Cassavetes is the first filmmaker to explore Miu Miu's femininity in her film: The Powder Room. The mega brand has commissioned a series of short films  to be released throughout the year, working with a variety of distinctive and talented filmmakers. The Powder Room is exquisitely beautiful, and makes me think of Sofia Coppola's Lisbon sisters - grown up and out at a party. If I could just own everything little thing in this film from wardrobe to set, I would be happy forever.

More Prada Genius...

Genius, genius, genius!! In order to promote Prada's limited, 500 pair run, of incredibly amazing, sell-your-soul-to-get-a-pair SS11 sunnies, they have opted to use illustrators instead of models of the moment. I love!! I wish illustrated advertisements would come back in a major way, hopefully this is just the beginning of a long-lasting trend to come. Bravo!

Hermione De Paula SS11

Stop, Drop & Drool - how amazing are these images from Hermione De Paula's SS11 lookbook? It's always refreshing to come across a lookbook with images that are a work of art but still show off the clothes in a way that makes them both sellable and desirable. Check out the full lookbook HERE.

Accessorise with POP Art

Keith Haring has been one of my favourite artists for as long as I can remember. I LOVE the Nicholas Kirkwood shoes that he designed in collaboration with the Keith Haring Foundation - but sadly may have to hold off on purchasing a pair as I don't have a spare £300+ (the starting price point for these babies) casually lying around.

Luckily there is a cheaper alternative for the bank account challenged like me- WAH Nails are now doing Keith Haring Pop Art NAAAAILS! SO excited about my next manicure.

Peachy Keen Bday Nails!

The amazingly talented Alice, of Peachy Keen Nails, came over to my house on Saturday night to decorate everyone's nails at my b-day party! She did such a great job and it was so much fun, thanks a million Alice!

From top to bottom: my metallic leopard and drip nails, Hayley's minty leopard, Charlene's cutiepatootie polka dots, Vanessa's chic Chanel's, and Dana's blood-red drips.

From Dusseldorf with Love

Hallo! No I have not forgotten about London Snog, I've been away in Dusseldorf, Germany for the past four days sans internetz! Well, I did have internet but it was the equivalent of dial-up from 1997 which equals no blog posts for moi. Anyhoo, now i'm BACK in London and back to blogging!

I had such a nice time in Dusseldorf, heading over I wasn't expecting much from the city but it blew me away and I can't wait to go back! My younger brother recently re-located to join the city's ballet company and as he was performing with them for the first time over the weekend, my mum and I both flew over to visit and support his debut. It's a shame that my four days full of fantastic arts, food, family and sights went by so fast but it was a great mini-break indeed. More photos to come soon! x
