RADIA Mag x London Snog

A little while ago, UK online magazine, RADIA, came over to my house in London to snap some pics while I played dress up for the day. I'm very flattered they chose me as one of their favourite fashion bloggers, and they were a great team to work with. Check out the full feature by clicking HERE, thanks RADIA! xo

DIY Friendship Bracelets

Anyone who knows me, knows that I am completely obsessed with friendship bracelets. I believe this obsession must stem from the hours upon hours I spent making them as a kid. While recently I've tended to buy them instead of make them, now that summer is back, i've been thinking I should get my nimble fingers going again - it's a great past-time while at the cottage or tanning on the beach! I definitely had a book on friendship bracelet making when I was a kid, but who knows where that might be at this point in time (probably in a charity shop somewhere), but luckily Honestly... WTF has just posted a DIY friendship bracelet tutorial! Click HERE for instructions xo

Summer Skirts Pt. 1: The Kane
Well hello there beautiful galaxy print Christopher Kane skirt, I love you. I'm sorry you are so crinkled, apparently this is what happens when I refuse to take you off for two days straight. But who could blame me for not wanting to take you off when I receive a constant flow of skirt-envy and compliments from passersby when I wear you? Thank you for taking my wardrobe to the next level, please never leave me or get ruined. ps. If you're a London-based reader who would love to get their hands on a bit of Kane too, then don't miss out on the sample sale on June 9th & 10th - click HERE for more info. x

Chloe & Kate

Good outfit, Chloe, as always - clearly we share the same appreciation for midriff cleavage and denim. Oh hey Kate, you are so beautiful I just had to throw in this pic too, for no other reason than you being so damn beautiful.

I GOT ELLE'D
Yippeeee! I've been waiting for my very own ELLE cover since I started and now i've finally got one! Best leaving card of all time. Mucho thanks to the amazing art interns - Andrew & Natalie - for making this for me. I love how they added "How To Do The Best Top Knot" on the cover - didn't realise my hair made such an impression on the team, but every other lovely note said they were going to miss my signature hairstyle! Can't wait to frame this as soon as I get home. THANK YOU TEAM ELLE! xo

What I Wore To Work Today...

Sadly I am in my last week at work, so obviously for my last What ELLE Wears outfit I just HAD to bust out my amazing Chanel sandals! Did you do a double take when you saw my picture, almost mistaking me for MK Olsen? Thought so. We are practically twins when I wear these babies! So today I wore: a silver sweater from H&M with a white chiffon top from Next underneath, pleather leggings (a hand-me-down from BK), D&G clutch wallet and Chanel sandals. Click HERE to check out all of the ELLE team's outfits xo

Country Folk

For some reason this shoot makes me think of The Craft - you know, that scene in the country side with all the butterflies? Yea, that one. Except less gothy and more hippie-folksy. Its a Monday and I could really do with float in a petal-filled bath/pool/river somewhere, couldn't you?

Its A Girly Girl Thing

Last night I spoke to a friend over the phone who is currently on the verge of a nervous break down that has been brought on by the "androgynous" trend. "All the chicks are dressing like boys!" he said. Well, yes, its true. Girls dressing like boys, boys dressing like girls - it's pretty major and has been for a while. Oh hay AW11, you also say it's not going away any time soon. Maybe it's because I'm built more like a Marilyn, rather than a 12 year old boy, but WHAT is so wrong with dressing like a lady/woman/female? I bought a dress at the D&G samples sale yesterday that my friend tried to talk me out of because it made my boobs look "too big." Is that a bad thing I thought? Honey, thanks to Christina Hendricks, BIG BOOBS ARE BACK!!
So let's just take a minute and enjoy these pretty photos from Marie Claire. Lace? Chiffon? Cleavage? Short hemlines? Baby, I'm into it. Call me a Girly Girl, or what have you, I just can't pull off a head-to-toe man outfit and look hot. Oh, and AW11? I don't hate you or anything. Thank you for the major SEXy trend and Louis Vuitton show. You rock. Oh and fur, I love all the fur. xo
